In conjunction with Luxembourg's presence as the guest of honour at the 2015 Strasbourg Christmas Market, the Union luxembourgeoise de l'économie sociale et solidaire is organising a special free train to Strasbourg to celebrate the event and explore the city.
Each individual is free to conduct the day as they wish, with 13 chalets of the special Luxembourg village offering a variety of products and the whole city of Strasbourg lying at their feet, waiting to be explored.
The train is scheduled to depart from Luxembourg at 08:38 on Sunday 6 December 2015, with a 10:48 arrival in Strasbourg. The return journey will leave at 15:50 the same day, returning to Luxembourg at 18:03 in the evening. Participants will have access to parking at the Gare Centrale for €5 for the day, on presentation of the train ticket which will be distributed on the train.
The trip has been financed by the SNCF and the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse.
Interested parties are invited to send their name and contact information to the e-mail info@uless.lu ASAP as 145 places have already been booked and registration is expected to close at around midday today, Thursday 3 December 2015.
