In 2016, children up to the age of 12 will be able to take part in a series of public walks organised by Cactus and the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Marche Populaire (FLMP).

The so-called 'Yuppi Walks' will be generally comprised of a distance of 5-6 kilometres and have been developed within the framework of public walks for both young and old organised over 10km and 20km courses.

The 'Yuppi-Walk 2016' challenge will be composed of six separate walks. Each young participant of any age up to 12 years old will be able to apply for a free participation card with which to collect stamps at various checkpoints. Young walkers who participate in 4 Yuppi-Walks will receive a reward from Yuppi on 15 October 2016 in Dudelange, and a special gift will be reserved for those who take part in all six Yuppi-Walks.

Walks will take place on the following dates:

-30 April 2016: Lieler crossing of 'Cactus-Bësch'.
-8 May 2016: Junglinster
-10 July 2016: Walferdange. During the National Day of Nordic Walking
-7 August 2016: Ettelbruck crossing with 'Cactus-Bongert'.
-11 September 2016: Steinfort.
-16 October 2016: Dudelange. Awards ceremony in the presence of Yuppi.
