Luxembourgish fracking flowback and produced water treatment equipment provider, APATEQ, today announced a strategic partnership with Fluid Clarification LP, a Canadian provider of advanced separations technology for the oil and gas market.

APATEQ was established in Luxembourg in 2013 in order to provide custom designed oil-water separation systems for operators of oilfields and other water treatment equipment which is currently operated in Europe and North America. The company's new partnership formed with Fluid Clarification LP will allow for APATEQ products to be sold by the latter to the Canadian market.

"We are delighted about the trust of Fluid Clarification in our technology and its implementation, as well as in our high-quality systems. The cooperation will increase our international presence and offers the opportunity to enter new markets," said APATEQ CEO Bogdan Serban.

"This collaboration combines proven technology and reliable engineering with our many years of market experience," added Arthur Potts, Fluid Clarification Founder and CEO. "It enables Fluid Clarification to expand its product portfolio with the highest performance membrane based oil-water separation systems, using the best engineering capabilities available."

The first large scale installation of APATEQ's produced water and fracking flowback treatment plant OilPaq in North America will be commissioned in October 2015, and the company is also due to establish a subsidiary in the USA later this year in order to directly serve the US market.
