
Ville de Luxembourg has announced that from Sunday 28 June 2015 to 27 July 2015, it will offer a shuttle service in collaboration with the Ministry of Sustainable Development to cater to people shopping in the summer sales.
The City Shopping Bus will leave every six minutes between 13.30 and 18.30 during the stated summer period. The bus will take users from the Glacis carpark (which has over 1200 spaces available and is free of charge on Sundays) to Rue Beaumont in the city centre.
Additionally, Ville de Luxembourg will offer lines 1-31 of the city's bus network, such as RGTR lines 120, 144, 192, 194 and 215, free of charge on Sunday 28 June 2015.
Line 1 will leave, starting from 12:48, every 10 minutes from parking Bouillon (also open on weekends) to the Gare district and city-centre, and the return journey will be offered from 13:05 from Hamilius Quai 2 on Boulevard Royal to P+R Bouillon.
Furthermore, from 6 June 2015 all routes in the intra-city service such as Eurobus lines 120, 125, 144, 165, 167, 192, 184, 195 and RGTR 215 and 222 have become free of charge on Saturdays.
