On Saturday morning, the Glacis car-park in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg was the scene of the 23rd annual Car Boot Sale organised by The British Ladies Club (BLC) of Luxembourg.
As per previous years, the event included, in addition to scores of car boot stalls where everything must have been second-hand, a Cafe and BLC Stalls.
With the organisers present from around 06:00, the 250 cars could start their set-up from 07:00, with selling starting at 09:00. Business was brisk as the weather was kind, the sun coming out in the morning after the overnight storm on Friday night.
This fundraising event takes place annually regardless of the weather with all BLC profits going to the Office Social de la Ville de Luxembourg. To date more than €20,000 has been raised by participants.
