At 19:00 on Monday 8 June 2015 the documentary “Happiness in the Workplace "(Le Bonheur au Travail) will be screened at Solarwind, Windhof.
The organisers told The Luxembourg Chronicle that, according to recent studies, almost one in three employees are “actively dissatisfied” and nearly two in three of the workforce are motivated only by their salary. Although these statistics give the impression of a generally unhappy working environment, the trend is not necessarily irreversible.
Martin Messonnier has unearthed many companies across the planet who buck this trend, and his passionate documentary explores a number of different enterprises whose non-standard, or even liberated, practices seem to suggest that achieving an engaged, motivated, happy workforce is more than just a pipe dream.
