The Ville de Luxembourg’s (VdL) Traffic Service has announced that the segment on Avenue Monterey between the Boulevard Prince Henri and Boulevard Royal will be blocked off from Monday 1 June, as a result of the construction work for the new access ramp to the car park, and the implementation of the new bus line adjustments.
To ensure the progress of these works, the VdL has informed the most suitable alternative routes to access the city centre – from Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte and Avenue Marie-Thérèse, for those accustomed of using Avenue Monterey.
Only residents and their suppliers, as well as public transport will be allowed on the otherwise blocked off stretch of the Avenue Monterey.
The Traffic Service will provide the appropriate signs and markings of the recommended alternative routes.
