The English-speaking section of the natur&ëmwelt organisation will be holding a behind the scenes tour of the Wild Animal Shelter in Dudelange on Saturday 27 June from 14:00 to 16:00.
The Shelter welcomes endangered or orphaned wild animals and helps thousands of them each year, with a laudable success rate – 60% of animals are reintroduced into the wild. Animals include young red foxes, stone martens, native owls, birds of prey, and baby hedgehogs.
The tour is a family and disabled-friendly event, and requires weather-appropriate clothing.
It costs €5, which will go as a direct donation towards the animal shelter.
