As part of the National Road Safety Plan, Luxembourg's Roads Administration has announced that three red light speed cameras installed recently in Hollerich will enter their test phase from Wednesday 1 June 2022.

The three new cameras were installed at the Route d'Esch and Boulevard Pierre Dupong intersection near Lycée Aline Mayrisch on N56, at the intersection of Route d'Esch and towards Boulevard Dr Charles Marx, and at the interection on Boulevard Dr Charles Marx and Route d'Esch towards A4.

The red light speed cameras flashing from behind will make it possible to simultaneously control speeding (the maximum authorised speed is limited to 50 km/h at the aforementioned places) and the fact of running a red light.

No warnings or fines will be issued during the test phase and all photos taken, and other data generated during testing will be deleted immediately.

The start of the prohibitory phase will be communicated in due course.
