The Grand Ducal Police has reported two burglaries and a theft that took place at multiple locations in Luxembourg on Friday 5 June 2026.

According to the police, a burglary was committed at a detached house on Rue Dr Orphée Bernard in Dudelange between 23:09 and 23:12. Three suspects gained access to the balcony at the rear of the property via the terrace roof before forcing open a window to enter the house. They reportedly left shortly afterwards and fled in a vehicle that collected them from the scene. Police forensic officers attended the location.

A second burglary occurred at a detached house in Useldange between 13:00 and 16:40. One or more suspects allegedly forced open a veranda window at the rear of the property before opening a second window to gain access to the house. Police have launched an investigation and forensic officers attended the scene.

The police also reported a theft in Rue Pierre Maisonnet in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie at around 17:30. A man was allegedly approached by two women after getting off a public bus. The women reportedly engaged him in conversation, distracted him and hugged him, during which they stole a chain from his neck. When the victim attempted to free himself, the suspects fled the scene.

Investigations into all three incidents are ongoing.
