On Wednesday 27 May 2026, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) reported strong visitor numbers during the 2026 Pentecost weekend, reflecting what it described as “a positive start” to the summer tourism season in Luxembourg City.
Between Friday 22 and Monday 25 May 2026, the LCTO welcomed 1,788 visitors to its information office on Place Guillaume II. Most visitors came from Germany (633), followed by France (290), the Netherlands (161) and Luxembourg (93).
The Bock Casemates and Pétrusse Casemates remained among the capital’s most visited attractions during the long weekend. Over four days, the Bock Casemates welcomed a total of 4,361 visitors, while the Pétrusse Casemates recorded 1,414 visitors, according to the LCTO.
The LCTO also organised 64 guided tours attended by a total of 991 participants. According to the tourist office, popular tours included the “City Promenade” and guided visits of the Bock Casemates.
Interest also remained strong online. During the same period, the website luxembourg-city.com recorded 37,279 page views from 16,327 users.
