Fire broke out in a hotel in Lipperscheid, Lepschter-Dellt, yesterday afternoon, resulting in one employee being hospitalised as a result of smoke inhalation. 

The fire is thought to have originated around the hotel's saunas, but was quickly put out by several patrols from the fire services. 

The hotel was evacuated with no injury to customers.
