The Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg Asbl held the 8th edition of the final of the My First Enterprise (MFE) programme on Wednesday 18 June 2025 at Deloitte Luxembourg.
A total of 94 teams from nineteen secondary schools participated in this 2024/2025 edition. The twelve finalist teams were selected based on written submissions, which were reviewed in advance by a jury made up of experts from the professional world.
Complete a project with €50
Over a period of ten weeks, teams of three to four students received a starting capital of €50 and tried to grow it through buying and selling small products, offering a service or creating and marketing their own items. The programme welcomed all students enrolled in fourth grade or equivalent classes.
Develop managerial skills as early as possible
The programme aims to develop entrepreneurial skills among young people by giving them the opportunity to take their first steps in business management. Participants work in teams, manage a real project, interact with suppliers and customers, and gain valuable experience that prepares them for future initiatives such as the Mini-Enterprises.
To help the students improve their sales techniques, the My First Enterprise teams once again had the opportunity to present and sell their products or services at the Cloche d'Or Shopping Centre on 15 March 2025. In total, 81 students, supported by their teachers, showcased their often homemade creations and impressed customers with their creativity and professionalism.
