On Wednesday 29 May 2024, the Luxembourg-based razrtech web and mobile product company announced that its SaaS-based social networking platform Socially.so has scaled to support 200 diverse communities and empower four social networks.

This announcement follows the launch of its Software as a service (SaaS) version in February 2024, marking significant growth and paving the way for niche communities and alternative social networks, razrtech noted.

The majority of Socially.so's communities are located in the USA, Canada and the UK, followed by France, Germany and the Netherlands, the parent company noted. The platform primarily serves coaches, creators, businesses, associations, clubs and SaaS companies. By offering a flexible and scalable infrastructure, Socially.so aims to empower these groups to build meaningful connections and drive growth.

Each community on Socially.so is designed to meet the individual needs of its members, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting active participation. From startup incubators and professional networks to specialised groups such as communities for cardiologists, chess players and beauty influencers, the platform aims to provide seamless interaction and resource sharing, and to help communities move away from platforms such as Facebook groups and Discord.

Socially.so has partnered with four upcoming social networks in fields such as beauty and business. These partnerships provide companies with market-ready social infrastructure, including backends, payment methods, languages, features and mobile apps.

Currently, Socially.so serves over 150,000 users across various communities hosted on custom domains.

According to razrtech, communities catering to niche subjects are driving innovation and fostering discussions around previously overlooked topics. Today's community owners aim to monetise by having members pay a monthly fee, while also building "phygital" (physical plus digital) communities with regular meetups in various cities.

Socially.so already integrates novel technologies such as GPT-4, DALL-E and Replicate AI for post and image generation, aiming to constantly innovate its social networking services, razrtech concluded.
