The National Youth Service (Service national de la jeunesse - SNJ) has announced it will host the nineteenth edition of the “On Stéitsch” Festival on Saturday 26 September 2026 and is launching a call for participation aimed at young people as well as stakeholders in the youth sector.

The 2026 edition of the festival will take place at the site of the former abattoir (Schluechthaus) in Luxembourg-Hollerich and aims to provide a platform for young artists to showcase their talent and perform on stage.

In this context, SNJ invites young enthusiasts to take part in an open stage, which the association describes as “a genuine space for artistic expression”. Dance, singing, rap, theatre or any other form of expression are welcome, offering everyone the opportunity to take to the stage and share their talent with the public.

The SNJ have also announced that an exhibition space at the event will allow young artists to present their creations, whether paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures or any other form of art. This space will highlight the diversity of talents and encourage exchanges with visitors.

Professionals in the youth sector are also invited to propose participatory and interactive stands, encouraging the active engagement of young people through creative and collaborative activities.

Young people and organisations interested in participating can register online before Friday 1 May 2026 at https://onsteitsch.lu/.
