The nu:notes festival has announced that it will return to Luxembourg City with three evenings of live music, set to take place from Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 October 2026.
This year's programme will span contemporary jazz, electronic music and hip-hop, taking place across three venues - De Gudde Wëllen, den Atelier and Rotondes.
The festival will feature artists from Luxembourg and abroad. According to the organisers, nu approaches jazz as an evolving musical language rather than a fixed genre, exploring its connections with other contemporary music styles.
On Wednesday 14 October the festival will open at Gudde Wëllen in Luxembourg-Ville with a "nu:notes gaming night" featuring Luxembourg band Dillendub. The evening will combine live music with Mario Kart, with the band providing the musical backdrop as participants compete in the game.
On Friday 16 October, the festival will move to den Atelier in Luxembourg-Hollerich for a concert by Manchester trio GoGo Penguin, organised in collaboration with A-Promotions. The group combines elements of jazz and classical music with electronic influences.
The festival will conclude at Rotondes in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie on Saturday 17 October with an evening dedicated to hip-hop, organised in collaboration with De Läbbel.
United States (US) rapper Conway the Machine and producer Daringer will headline the evening as part of their "Reject II 10th Anniversary Tour". The programme will also feature Luxembourg artist Bobby Bieles and Luxembourg-Dutch duo William LX & Don D.
