Between 18 July and 16 August 2015, Luxembourg will see a new dance initiative in the streets of Luxembourg city.

1, 2 or 3 dancers may appear like Magic, dancing and Inviting members of the public to dance and enjoy and reflect on their next steps, transformed, enriched, rejuvenated and inspired. Those participating will then continue on their way with a different view on life, reflecting on their day and current activities.

The choreographers and dancers involved in the City Dance project are Selina Welter Donaldson (UK), Alice Mundschin (Switzerland) and Miranda Welter (Luxembourg).

The dancers will encourage participants to reflect on themselves, on life, on the city, on whatever they feel like. They will encourage participants to dance to their own inner music or create rhythms by clapping their hands, stomping their feet, singing, making sounds, laughing and crying...

The project unites independant Tampala trained dancers in a City Dance, inviting members of the public to participate in the free dance.

Now here and then gone, Fata Morgana gives the idea and the option that dance can be anywhere, anytime and is fun and healthy. Members of the public can join in and dance anytime if they want to. Dance is a way to change one's attitude to any situation, be it walking in the street with a lot of "stuff" on one's mind.
