The Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck (CAPE) has announced that the Es'CAPE Dance Club will hold a Rock n’ Roll dance night on Wednesday 30 April 2025 starting at 18:00.
According to the organisers, after the success of its salsa, rockabilly, batuk and swing evenings, the Rock n’ Roll Es'CAPE Dance Night will allow participants to learn the essential concepts of rock n’ roll or refresh the steps.
The programme is as follows:
18:00-19:00: “Workshop boogie advanced” (relaxed outfit and small basketball)
The course will be taught by Daniel and Orelia from the Dance Daniel dance school. This workshop is intended for people who have already practised boogie, or those who already know the basic step. Daniel and Orelia will demonstrate different figures to catchy music.
19:15-20:15: “Beginner boogie workshop” (relaxed and small "basketball" outfit)
The course will be taught by Daniel and Orelia from the Dance Daniel dance school. This workshop will teach the basics of boogie to different styles of music.
20:30 - 23:00: “Dance evening with live music”, hosted by the Belgian group10 Cats Down, described as “true masters of rockabilly”.
21:30 - 21:45: Demonstration of boogie woogie by Daniel and Orelia, representatives of Belgium during international competitions, accompanied by their students from the Dance Daniel school, located in Messancy in Belgium.
The price for the Dance Night is €26 (normal) and €13 for dancers under 26. The Dance Night plus one workshop costs €36 (normal) and €18 (under 26). One workshop costs €16 (normal) and €8 (under 26).
