On Tuesday 16 June 2026, Rotondes Cultural Centre in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie unveiled its programme for the 2026/27 season, which marks the return of large scale events to the newly renovated Rotonde 1 despite ongoing renovation works across the site.

Although the renovation project still has around two more years to run, Rotondes will once again host exhibitions, performances, concerts, markets and other events across its various spaces. The cover of the new season brochure features a construction element, reflecting the continuing works, which the venue estimates have around 936 days remaining.

Before the new season begins, Rotondes will launch its summer programme with the opening of the sixth Young Creation Triennial on Friday 26 June 2026. The exhibition, Common Ground, curated by the collective La Concierge, explores themes of inclusivity through works by 20 artists and will remain open free of charge until Sunday 30 August 2026. The opening evening will also feature concerts, performances and DJ sets.

From Friday 24 July to Thursday 20 August 2026, the Congés Annulés festival will return to the Parvis and the Klub with a programme of emerging artists, including GANS, Sheebaba and Chris Imler. Over four weeks, the festival will present performances spanning post punk, spoken word, harp music and electronic music.

According to the venue, the reopening of Rotonde 1 also marks the return of exhibitions to the gallery space. Among the highlights is Get Lost!, an exhibition dedicated to "Wimmelbücher" (search and find books), which will feature during the Fabula Rasa festival in January 2027.

The restored building will also once again host contemporary circus performances, including Beyond on 16 and 17 October 2026 and SKRAM from 25 to 27 February 2027.

Later in the season, Rotonde 1 will welcome the return of the Game On gaming marathon on 28 and 29 November 2026, followed by the Super Maart Christmas Edition on 19 and 20 December 2026 and the Geek Foire on 29 and 30 May 2027.

Meanwhile, the Platform space will host conferences, film screenings and public discussions that temporarily moved to the Klub during the previous season.

Looking ahead, Rotondes said the 2026/27 season will coincide with the most intensive phase of the renovation of Rotonde 2. The venue noted that technical works may affect parts of the programme but confirmed that the autumn schedule will include concerts at the Klub, the family musical performance Tec-Tec on 25 and 26 September 2026 and Fanfare Remix, an electronic music concert organised with the Luxembourg-Bonnevoie Municipal Brass Band, on 26 September 2026.

Rotondes also announced a new partnership with Neumünster Abbey's (neimënster) to launch Hoppla, a weekend of workshops and performances for children aged six months to five years. The event will take place on 3 and 4 October 2026.
