On Wednesday 1 July 2026, Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy announced the launch of the first edition of "Stones in Vibration", a new cultural tourism initiative designed to showcase the country's heritage through artistic and tourism experiences.

Launched at the initiative of Luxembourg's Minister Delegate for Tourism, Eric Thill, the pilot project will debut at Beaufort Castle on Saturday 22 August 2026 and is intended to be gradually extended to other heritage sites across the country.

According to the ministry, "Stones in Vibration" combines heritage, music, regional gastronomy, local crafts and family activities as part of a new approach to cultural tourism aimed at strengthening the attractiveness of Luxembourg's regions while showcasing the country's cultural and historical heritage.

The initiative forms part of the national "Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz!" campaign, which encourages residents and visitors to explore the country through authentic local experiences. The ministry said the project also aims to demonstrate how culture can help bring heritage sites to life, support local stakeholders and enrich the visitor experience.

Beaufort Castle, one of Luxembourg's most iconic historic sites, will host the inaugural edition, featuring performances by Francis of Delirium, Eva Marija, NOSI, Samwell, Irem, Don Piano, as well as the family show Nikki Ninja & d'Wibbeldidubs.

In addition to the concerts, visitors will be able to enjoy a Creators Market featuring around twenty local artisans and designers, a Food Village showcasing regional producers and restaurants, and activities for the whole family.

The ministry noted that "Stones in Vibration" is free to attend and has been designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind. Its programme is intended for audiences of all ages and encourages interaction between generations. Taking place during the peak tourist season, the event also aims to encourage international visitors to discover Luxembourg's cultural and historical heritage.

Minister Delegate for Tourism Eric Thill said: "With 'Stones in Vibration', we are launching a pilot project that reflects our ambition to further develop cultural tourism in Luxembourg. Our heritage is an outstanding asset for discovering our regions in new ways. By combining it with artistic creation, gastronomy and local expertise, we are creating experiences that encourage people to visit, stay and return."
