The Fondation Henri-Maria Teresa has announced the organisation of an exchange forum on adult dyslexia, scheduled to take place on Monday 2 March 2026 from 19:00 to 21:00.
According to the Foundation, the forum is being organised in collaboration with the Psychomotor Consultation and Support Service (SCAP), the Centre for the Development of Learning (CDA) Grand-Duchess Maria Teresa, and the University of Luxembourg.
The event follows the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to supporting people with learning difficulties and builds on the work initiated by Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, who launched the international Dysfocus Forum in January 2016. Organised in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, that pioneering initiative brought together nearly 1,500 professionals, teachers, parents and experts to foster dialogue around learning difficulties and marked the beginning of a broader movement to recognise and support people with dyslexia in the Grand Duchy, the Foundation noted.
The exchange forum is supported by Prince Louis, who is himself dyslexic and has publicly committed to sharing his personal experience. According to the organisers, while many resources and forms of support are aimed at children with dyslexia, adults with dyslexia often face particular challenges in their professional and social environments.
The forum aims to give a voice to adults with dyslexia and to create a space for sharing experiences, including the impact on professional careers, the advantages and disadvantages of adaptation, and the resources available to support them.
The Foundation is actively seeking adults with dyslexia, whether diagnosed or not, who wish to share their personal experiences, educational and professional pathways, and the strategies that have helped them overcome dyslexia-related challenges. Professional speakers will complement these testimonies by providing expert insights, offering an overall perspective on dyslexia in adulthood. Participants may also attend simply to listen, exchange views or ask questions in a supportive environment. Further sessions may be organised depending on participants’ needs.
The venue for the forum will be communicated at a later stage.
