POST Luxembourg today announced that it has donated a total of €12,221 to Youth Support Centre Norbert Ensch of the Luxembourg Red Cross.

At the end of 2019, POST Luxembourg, in partnership with the Red Cross, called on the general public to participate in knitting the longest scarf in the country to decorate and keep warm POST Luxembourg's PackUp 24/24 stations whilst also supporting the Youth Support Centre Norbert Ensch. POST Luxembourg pledged to pay a donation of €10 for each meter of knitted fabric for the beneift of the two Yua and Zoé structures, which welcome mothers and their babies to help them create a bond.

Hjoerdis Stahl, Deputy Managing Director of POST Luxembourg, commented: "I would like to thank all the participants who helped make a 472.07-metre long scarf. This will be used by the Red Cross to make blankets for babies in the shelter".

POST Luxembourg employees made an additional donation of €7,500 through their end-of-year €25 gift certificates.

Claude Olinger, HR director of POST Luxembourg, added: "It gives me enormous pleasure to see that 300 of our employees have chosen to give their gift vouchers in support of the Yua and Zoé structures".
