Organisers of the Luxembourg Pride Run 2025 have announced that over 1,000 runners have signed up for the event which will now take place on Thursday 10 July 2025 (originally scheduled for Friday 11 July 2025), starting at Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg-Ville.

Christophe Rahier, spokesperson for the Luxembourg Pride Run, emphasised: "Seeing such mobilisation from families, associations and companies is absolutely inspiring. In a context where, sadly, the rights and visibility of LGBTQIA+ communities are being challenged in some countries, it is essential to show that Luxembourg remains a space open to diversity, inclusion and equality for all, both in private and professional settings. The Pride Run is far more than just a race: it is a declaration of solidarity and commitment."

With a participant limit set at 3,500 runners, the event aims to promote visibility and equality for the LGBTQIA+ community while bringing together individual runners and corporate teams. It will feature the "Luxembourg Pride Run Village”, where attendees can meet local LGBTIQ+ organisations and companies committed to promoting diversity and inclusion. There will also be a variety of food and refreshments available from several stands.

The organisers have stresed that streets will remain open to traffic during the race.

This initiative is organised jointly by the VdL and ING Luxembourg and part of the funds raised through registration will be donated to projects run by local organisations Rosa Lëtzebuerg and CENTRE LGBTIQ+ Cigale.

Registration costs €22 (early registration) up to €28 (on the day). More information is available at https://www.luxembourgpriderun.lu.
