Enovos, Film Fund Luxembourg, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) and the Ministry of Social Security are among the latest establishments and/or organisations to announce temporary public closures or reduced activity in order to limit the spread of coronavirus in the Grand Duchy.

Enovos

On Tuesday, Enovos announced its decision to temporarily reduce its customer service. Faced with the current pandemic situation, Enovos has taken various preventive measures in the fight against the spread of coronavirus. These provisional measures include the closure of its enoshop stores at the Belle Etoile shopping centre and at Cactus Ingeldorf and in Luxembourg City, as well as the reduction of its telephone service.

Enovos confirmed that all current operations such as viewing one's energy consumption, consulting and downloading invoices, modifying personal data or declaring one's move to a new house can be carried out via the my.enovos.lu customer portal. Likewise, email service remains guaranteed via the contact form available on enovos.lu. The telephone service, although limited, is also available from 08:00 to 17:00. Enovos will therefore attempt to ensure the continuity of its services and will treat urgent cases as a priority.

The supply of electrical energy as well as natural gas remains unaffected.

Film Fund Luxembourg

Film Fund Luxembourg also announced its decision on Tuesday to close its offices and continue administrative work via teleworking until further notice. Film Fund Luxembourg assured that its services remain reachable via email and via telephone (for contact details, see http://www.filmfund.lu/film-fund-luxembourg/about-us/team).

In this challenging context, the Selection Committee has extended the date for submitting files for a request for Selective Financial Aid from 30 March to 27 April 2020. The next session of the Selection Committee is scheduled for 25-28/29 May 2020, but could still be modified depending on the evolution of the situation.

CSSF

Despite remaining operational, the CSSF has announced that its offices are closed to external visits. All communication should thus be done either through the eDesk for those who have registered or via email, instead of or in addition to regular post. All outgoing communications from the CSSF will be done by email, carrying no handwritten signature from the CSSF. Recipients are advised to verify that it originates from the domain name @cssf.lu and to remain vigilant as to potential frauds. In the case of suspicion regarding the message received, recipients may call their usual contact person at the CSSF via telephone or via the switchboard. The CSSF added that its team members are available for meetings by telephone or videoconference.

Social Security Organisations

In addition, Luxembourg's Ministry of Social Security announced on Tuesday various precautionary measures affecting the services of social security organisations due to coronavirus. These measures will be applicable from today, Wednesday 18 March 2020.

More specifically, the physical (face-to-face) counters of the services of social security organisations (institutions, administration and courts) have been closed and replaced by remote services. For some organisations, however, appointments may still be scheduled for emergency cases. Organisations will remain reachable via telephone, email and postal mail.

The organisations affected by these measures are: High Council of Social Security (Centre commun de la sécurité sociale, CCSS); Accident Insurance Association(Association d'assurance accident, AAA); National Pension Insurance Fund (Caisse nationale d'assurance pension, CNAP); National Health Fund (Caisse nationale de la santé, CNS); Health Insurance Fund for Civil Servants and Public Employees (Caisse de maladie des fonctionnaires et employés publics, CMFEP); Health Insurance Fund for Civil Servants and Communal Employees (Caisse de maladie des fonctionnaires et employés communaux, CMFEC); CFL Health Insurance Fund (Entraide médicale des CFL, EM-CFL); Social Security Medical Board (Contrôle médical de la sécurité sociale, CMSS); Administration for assessing and monitoring nursing care insurance (Administration d'évaluation et de contrôle de l'assurance dépendance, AEC); Social Security Arbitration Tribunal (Conseil arbitral de la sécurité sociale, CASS); High Council of Social Security (Conseil supérieur de la sécurité sociale, CSSS); Ministry of Social Security (MSS)
