The conference will be on the topic "Changing the rules of the game: The Economy for the Common Good" with keynote speaker Christian Felber, an Austrian alternative economist, university lecturer and co-founder of the Economy for the Common Good. He is an internationally renowned speaker, author of several award-winning bestsellers and a regular commentator on ethics, business and economics in various media.
During the event, the following questions will be addressed:
- Can economic efficiency and the common good be brought together in a meaningful way?
- What if your organisation was not solely focused on growth and profit, but instead prioritised social, charitable and environmental goals?
- Why do Energiepark, Greenpeace Luxembourg, Naturbaustoff and the City of Differdange promote the Economy for the Common Good?
Raymond Aendekerk, Director of Greenpeace Luxembourg will welcome the audience, followed by the keynote speech by Christian Felber. Four testimonials will follow, moderated by Gregor Waltersdorfer, Lara Frisch, Economy for the Common Good consultants, with representatives from Energiepark Réiden, Naturbaustoff Réiden, Greenpeace Luxembourg and the City of Differdange. The evening will end with a discussion round and questions from the audience, followed by networking.
While the event will be held in English, questions during the discussion can be asked in other languages.
