On Tuesday 23 April 2024, Luxembourg’s Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees and its partner Dräieck ASBL will reopen the night shelter until Sunday 28 April 2024.
Due to the current situation and weather forecasts, the ministry and the Dräieck ASBL, made up of Inter-Actions ASBL, Caritas Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Red Cross, have decided to temporarily reopen the Winter Action (Wanteraktioun) initiative’s night shelter.
Wanteraktioun is a humanitarian action whose aim is to prevent people experiencing homelessness from becoming victims of hypothermia during periods of extreme cold. It takes place in the multifunctional emergency structure at Findel and generally begins on 15 November and ends on 15 April.
The Dräieck ASBL has managed the Wanteraktioun since 1 January 2021 and ensures the organisation of accommodation and supervision of beneficiaries.
