Félix Braz's Health State Remains "Serious"

The Luxembourg Government has announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Félix Braz remains hospitalised in Belgium after having suffered a heart attack last month.

Minister Braz has been in intensive care in Belgium since the heart attack, which occurred on Thursday 22 August 2019. Yesterday, Monday 2 September 2019, he was transferred to another hospital in Belgium, where he will undergo further medical examinations.

The Government noted that the state of the minister's health has remained "serious" in recent days. They will provide further information as it becomes available.

In the meantime, the Government has requested continued respect for the privacy of Minister Braz and his family.
