On Wednesday evening, a man died when the mobile home in which he was staying was destroyed by fire.

The fire was spotted shortly after 21:30 at a location between Heiderscheid and Heiderscheid-Grund, close to Esch-sur-Sure, and the emergency fire services arrived at the scene. The sole occupant of the mobile home died.

The Luxembourg police have confirmed that an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the blaze.
