A fire at an almost-complete apartment block in Bertrange was noticed by a construction worker at midday on Friday.

The fire on rue Josephine Jacquemart Jaans came from a pile of rubbish close to the building and caused significant visible damage to the facade. The emergency fire services were quickly at the scene and extinguished the fire before it had the chance to spread. Nobody was injured in the incident.
