Young citizens of four countries have created the exhibition “Cities for Us – Our Points of View” that presents visitors with several photographs showing cityscapes from four European cities - Luxembourg, Valcea, Vienna and Viseu; the exhibition is on view in Luxembourg until October 2016 at the Grund tunnel.

Through this project, young people, aged 11 - 16, have rediscovered their cities and the 23 works of art were created by students attending schools in the different cities. Namely: Luxembourg (European School Luxembourg I), Valcea, Romania (Scoala Gimnaziala I.GH. DUCA), Vienna, Austria (Bundesgymnasium and Realgymnasium) and Viseu, Portugal (Escola Basica D. Duarte).

The photographic exhibition is the result of collaboration between the educational entertainment and leisure centre (Capel) of the Ville de Luxembourg.

This project is part of the European Comenius programme “Cities for us”. The Comenius programme is a European Union educational project that aims to help young people and educational staff better understand the range of European cultures, languages and values.

In July 2016 an addition of other large photographs that depict the Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg city centre, as well as creative performances from June 2015 will be added to the collection.
