Doina de Watazzi recently exhibited her works of art at the Linari Law Firm offices in Luxembourg, as they were celebrating fifteen years of existence.

Here works of art when sold will go to helps support a project from the Luxembourg-based Fasolux a.s.b.l. and specifically their project Badnoogo in Burkina Faso in Africa. It will renovate the school and do that in two phases, the school being in a disastrous condition. The first will address practical issues such as tables and chairs, termite eaten and bent,  and includes the replacing writing boards, which were painted on the wall but are now cracked; as well as increasing the space to even be able to welcome students. The second phase is to be part of a larger project to construct another school classroom, the foundation is placed. The walls will need to be built with the money to be raised. The year 2016 should see the finishing of this last phase.

Doina de Watazzi has painted some deeply moving paintings using innermost feelings and thoughts to bring forth some magical works of art. When one stares at the painting, it feels as if you are being pulled away from your very existence. A glimpse of this incredible depth can for example be seen with number 13 where images arrest you in mid-view and capture your soul as you move on to the faces that swirl above the bridge, reminding one of the memories we once had and are now revived above a swift river. An exhibition not to be missed if only because her art is soothing for the soul, and what is there not to like about that?

The artist's paintings are beautiful and come in all sizes that are easy on the eyes and well even your wall space from 80 x 60 com all the way up to 180 x 60 cm they are full of magical views. They are open to be viewed.
