Following the attempted military coup in Turkey on Friday night which has seen over 6,000 people arrested over the week-end on the country, Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has issued a travel advice in respect of the country.
Luxembourg nationals at present in Turkey are advised to stay put and stay indoors until the situation clarifies. Movements within Turkey are therefore currently not recommended.
