Casino Luxembourg is hosting a guided visit of the "By the edges of our absence" exhibition followed by a concert by Ophelia, on Thursday 16 January 2020 from 19:00.
"By the edges of our absence", currently on display at Casino Luxembourg, is a joint exhibition by artists Alasdair Asmussen Doyle and Judith Deschamps. Next Thursday, the works currently hung up will be dismantled and the exhibition will awaiting works to come. This moment of suspension is the opportunity to host a guided visit in the presence of the artists, drawing on the empty space and the imagination it arouses.
The visit will be followed by a concert by Ophelia at 21:00. Ophelia is a trio created by artist Émilie Pitoiset and Matthieu Canaguier and Shantidas Riedacker, both members of the psychedelic rock black metal group Aluk Todolo. Since 2018, they have been working together to intersect their influences and deliver dark and haunting music.
The entry fee is €8 or €1.50 for Kulturpass holders.
