Details: On Tuesday 24 May 2016, the team of artists and songwriters of the Grund Club will be inviting the public to a musical evening at neimënster featuring a first recorded performance.
The Grund Club is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the creations of local composers and this time will be taking over the Robert Krieps Hall of the Abbaye de Neumünster to accommodate spectators for a live performance.
The event will give prominence to Daniel Balthasar, one of the most prolific and versatile singer-songwriters on the Luxembourg music scene. The guest artist for the evening will be Manuela Rufolo, with support performances from Laetitia Koener of Go By Brooks, Sven Sauber, Esther Correia and Alta Gouveia. Entertainment for the evening will be in the form of Irina Holzinger (IRINA, Naked Socks) and Priscila Da Costa (The Filthy Broke Billionaires, The Glas Arrows).
The Grund Club Songwriters' Show is an initiative developed by Lata Gouveia as a means of promoting, inspiring, presenting and preserving a catalogue of music from Luxembourg and the Greater Region. At each concert, Grund Club artists accompanied by guest singers and musicians showcase the repertoire of a performer, enabling the public to discover the latest "Made in Luxembourg" hits in rock, pop or jazz.
