Details: It will be World Book Day on Thursday 6 March; to celebrate this woderful literary occasion, the Chapter1 bookstore will be giving away hundreds of free children's books from Saturday 1 March.
In addition, Chapter1 has also decided to hold a picture competition for children up to the age of 14-16 years. To participate, children should submit a drawing or painting to do with a book, by Tuesday 4 March. There will be different age catagories: 5 and under, 6 - 9, 10 - 12 and 13 upwards. The winners will be announced on the World Book Day on Thursday 6 March.
The best of the pictures will be displayed in the shop window.
