100+ Rowers to Participate in 6th Waistrooss Race in July

The Luxembourg International Rowing Club (LIRC) has announced that the sixth edition of its annual "Waistrooss Head of River" rowing competition will start again from Remich (as for the first two editions) on Sunday 9 July 2023.

This 5,000 m race (with all types of boat mixed) along the Moselle river will see about 100 rowers depart the Casa 49 restaurant in Remich at around 11:00 and head upstream towards the LIRC's facilities in Schwebsange.

This international competition will bring together several foreign clubs, coming from Brussels, Namur, Liège, Trier, Saarbrücken, Metz, Mittersheim, Thionville and Sarreguemines, among others.
