Brixembourg asbl hosted a large LEGO exhibition and sale at the Centre Polyvalent Gaston Stein in Junglinster over the weekend.

LEGO fans of all ages had the opportunity to add to their collections and admire the creations of exhibitors from Luxembourg and the Greater Region at this two-day CovidCheck event.

The first edition of the Brixembourg exhibition was held in 2019; the event did not go ahead last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, around 30 exhibitors as well as 850 visitors were present.

Highlights included replicas of the Grand Ducal Palace, the Monument of Remembrance (Gëlle Fra, or Golden Lady) and the Porta Nigra in Trier, as well as the sale of special "Brixembourg 2021" mini-figures.

Brixembourg also ran a competition, in collaboration with CK House & Realty Luxembourg, where visitors could guess the number of LEGO bricks in a container for the chance to win a LEGO® Technic 42083 Bugatti Chiron, worth €369.99.
