The NETWORK Speed Mentoring Workshop Brings Together 50+ Participants

The NETWORK, the international professional business women's association, held its fourth Speed Mentoring workshop on Wednesday evening at the Hotel le Royal in Luxembourg City.

Over 50 participants met with thirteen mentors in a speed dating style event, where each participant met with three mentors in 30-minute-cycles each. Each mini-workshop focused on issues of interest and concern for the participants, with the goal to share knowledge, activate insights and encourage action and growth. 

The mentors, experts and specialists in their fields, covered a variety of personal and professional development. Topics included career development, entrepreneurship, health and well-being. This years' line-up included some known faces, as well some new mentors. All mentors were members of The NETWORK, whose mission is to empower and inspire professional women from the international community.

For the mentors, it was a chance to present concepts, tips and share their expertise.  Frauke Rost of Frauke Rost Coaching, who contributed as a mentor for the first time, commented: "I enjoyed the active participation and motivation of the mentees. It was really encouraging see the openness and curiosity from everybody".

For President Mary Louise Ashworth, the Speed Mentoring workshop is a highlight of the annual events calendar: "There's so much energy and excitement in the air. There's always such a buzz, and the participants love meeting new people and meeting new mentors. We worked hard to put together a treasure trove of mentors and ensure that everybody takes away at least one golden nugget".

The next event from The NETWORK, the Summer Drinks and Networking, will take place at le Sud on 10 July 2019, just before the summer break.
