The Route du Vin has announced that registration is now open for its upcoming edition, which will take place in Remich on Sunday 27 September 2026.
Created in 1962, the event is Luxembourg's oldest road race and attracts around 1,800 participants each year. Its flagship 21.1 km half marathon takes runners through the vineyards of the Luxembourg Moselle, alongside 10 km, 5 km and children's races.
Registration is available online. Participation in the 750 m and 1,500 m children's races is free of charge, while entry fees for the 5 km, 10 km and 21.1 km half marathon range from €23 to €36, depending on the race distance and registration period. The minimum age for the half marathon is eighteen years, while participants in the 5 km and 10 km races must be at least sixteen years old.
The first-place prize in both the men's and women's half marathon is €1,250, with prize money awarded to the top ten finishers. A €1,000 bonus is also on offer for anyone breaking the course record. The current records stand at 59:56 for men (Leonard Langat in 2010) and 1:09:15 for women (Peninah Jerop Kandie in 2017).
The half marathon starts at 09:00, followed by the children's races, the 10 km and the 5 km throughout the day.
Organisers recommend using public transport to reach the event, as parking in Remich will be limited.
