Luxembourg's Government Commissariat for Quality, Fraud and Food Safety has announced the recall of all "Kinder" chocolate products made at the Ferrero production plant in Arlon after the Belgian authorities withdrew the site's licence.

On Friday 8 April 2022, the Belgian food safety authority AFSCA ordered the closure of the Ferrero production plant in Arlon over a recent salmonella outbreak.

Luxembourg has now recalled the following Ferrero products (regardless of the batch number or expiration date): Kinder SurpriseKinder Surprise MaxiKinder Mini Eggs; Schoko Bons; Kinder Mix Mini Eggs; Kinder Mix Plush; Kinder Schoko Bons White; Kinder Happy Moments; Kinder Mix Advent Calendar

The Luxembourg authorities have reiterated their recommendation that consumers no longer consume these products.
