On Thursday 26 August 2021, the Commercial Union of the Ville de Luxembourg presented details of the Luxembourg City Braderie 2021 that is taking place on Monday 30 August 2021.
The press conference was held in the presence of Mireille Rahmé-Bley, President of the Commercial Union of the Ville de Luxembourg (UCVL), Anne Darin-Jaulin, Director of the UCVL, Serge Wilmes, Chief Alderman in charge of Trade at the VdL, Patrick Goldschmidt, Alderman, and Jérémy Pastre of the Strogoff restaurant which was hosting the event.
The Grande Braderie will take place on Monday 30 August 2021 from 09:00 - 19:00 in the upper town district as well as in the Gare district.
The UVCL has been happy to reorganise the Braderie into its traditional form, with the return of food stands, associations and entertainment - which were all missing last year die to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A must-attend event for the start of the school year, the Braderie is synonymous with good deals with attractive discounts on items from old collections. The event is held in a festive atmosphere thanks to the stands animating the commercial streets of the capital. It is also a good opportunity to meet up after the holidays and have a good time with family or friends.
Activities will be found in different places in the city, such as ping pong, table football, pony cycle and even the live show by the yoga studio Aéroyoga.
In addition to good deals, visitors will be able to indulge in the new autumn collections and discover new restaurants and shops recently established in the city centre.
To end this day of the Braderie, customers will be able to try out the attractions of the “Fun um Glacis” located on the Glacis field and feast on the various specialties on offer.
