On Saturday 12 March 2016, La Belle Étoile will host the presentation of 37 mini-enterprises as part of a programme set up by the Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg (JEL) aimed at inspiring and encouraging young people to create and innovate.

Cactus is a Gold Partner of the JEL and supports its projects, including the mini-enterprises programme set up in 2001. On Saturday, nearly 40 of these small initiatives will be present, offering innovative products or services to the general public. Young entrepreneurs aged 16-19 will be able to practice their sales techniques in order to attract passers-by and turn them into potential customers. Held once every academic year, the programme therefore empowers students to develop their business project and see it through from design to distribution.

The public is invited to come and support the young people in their endeavours and encourage them in their first foray into the daily challenges of professional life. Minister of Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, will be visiting the stands in the morning accompanied by representatives of the JEL and Cactus. The latter will also award a prize for the best stand.
