On Thursday 20 August 2026, the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced the recall of Milbona High Protein Pudding Chocolate Flavour due to the presence of "Bacillus cereus", also known as fried rice syndrome.
The following product has been recalled from points of sale in Luxembourg: Milbona High Protein Pudding Chocolate Flavour, 200 g, with a best-before date of 14 September 2026.
The affected product was sold between Friday 31 July and Wednesday 19 August 2026.
The sale of the affected product in Luxembourg has been confirmed by Lidl.
According to the authorities, the risk level has been classified as “orange”, indicating a moderate danger.
