The concept behind the new collection is to provide a wide variety of gifts which reflect the Easter spirit. The coloured glass vase Oronda, which strives to redefine the classic round shape with natural, organic lines, is practical for large bouquets and with its colour white Arctic Breeze it is considered timeless. The Lovely Rose and Mellow Blue are two new pastel colours for this year’s collection of smaller vases. Villeroy & Boch has also introduced the Verso vase with a slimmer shape which balances the colours white and yellow with a pattern of narcissus.
If vases are too old-fashioned for you or you simply want to give flowers that will last longer Villeroy & Boch has come up with alternative ways of making their new line of eggcups exciting and fresh by thinking of them as flowerpots. Simply add some moss on soil and a small Daisy mini-hyacinths or horned violets.
The watercolour blossoms of the series Mariefleur Spring can this season also be found on little porcelain rabbits.
