On Tuesday 19 January 2016, Cactus opened a new supermarket in the centre of Differdange.
The new Differdange branch joins 7 other Cactus Marché located in Bettembourg, Esch-Brill, Luxembourg-Gare, Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, Merl, Schifflange and Bonnevoie, as well as 22 Cactus Shoppi found primarily in petrol stations.
Covering 600 m2, the most recent addition falls in line with the supermarket chain's aim to provide essentials to areas around Luxembourg where customers can carry out their shopping needs quickly. Cactus Differdange offers self-service check-out for automated customer payments.
The Differdange branch offers a range of Cactus products and brands, including De Schnékert Traiteur prepared dishes, Alnatura organic products, Vin Découverte, Pains & Tradition, Namur, Leonidas and Kasa kitchen utensils. Differdange Cactus provides 120 underground parking spaces with one hour free.
In celebration of the opening, from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 January 2016 customers can enjoy a 10% discount on purchases (excluding promotional items, tobacco, cigarettes, stamps, phone and other prepaid cards, lottery tickets), as well as a mini cactus and a small gift.
Opening hours are as follows:
Monday-Friday: 07:30 to 19:00
Saturday: 07:30 to 18:00
Sunday: 08:00 to 13:00
