Touch Luxembourg is gearing up to participate in the 2024 Touch World Cup, which is taking place in Nottingham in England from 15 to 21 July 2024.

In preparation for this tournament, Touch Luxembourg has planned a press day on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June 2024. This event marks the last training camp for the national team ahead of the World Cup.

As part of the preparation, the Luxembourg Men's 30 national team are hosting the Belgium Men's 30 team at Stade Boy Konen in Cessange on Sunday afternoon for their final warm-up game before the World Cup.

Luxembourg will compete at the World Cup in Pool A against nineteen nations in the Men's 30 division, divided into two pools. Pool A consists of ten teams (including Luxembourg) and will play nine matches per team over ten rounds. Pool B consists of nine teams and will play eight matches per team over eight rounds.

In addition to Luxembourg, Pool A is composed of: Australia; Canada; Cook Islands; England; Ireland; Spain; Sweden; Switzerland; USA.

Pool B is composed as follows: Belgium; France; Hong Kong; Japan; Netherlands; New Zealand; Singapore; South Africa; Wales.

Touch Luxembourg recalled that Touch is a dynamic sport where men and women compete at elite (open) levels and in various senior age divisions, ranging from 30, 35 and up to over 55 years.

The 2024 Touch World Cup will feature more than 3,500 players from over 40 countries.
