
The Luxembourg Rugby Federation (FLR) has announced the participation of its Under‑18 boys' national team in the Rugby Europe U18 Boys 7s Championship 2025, scheduled for Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 July 2025 in Bourgoin‑Jallieu, France.
Twelve national teams will compete in an intense two‑day tournament at the Stade Pierre Rajon. The teams include Luxembourg, alongside rugby powerhouses such as France, Spain, Belgium, Czechia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Latvia, Germany, Portugal, Romania and Poland.

The team is poised to test their skills early with challenging matches against established opponents.
Building on momentum from recent years, including a silver medal in 2024 and a bronze medal in 2022, Luxembourg's young sevens side is ready for the next leap forward.
The FLR said these results reflect the dedication of players, coaches and the federation to elevate Luxembourg's presence in European rugby.
"Competing against Europe's elite will help our boys grow on and off the field," said Walter Fontan, team manager of the U18 squad. "We've seen what they can achieve. Now, we want to show it on the Championship stage."
