From Monday 17 to Friday 21 March 2025,  the GoodFoodLoop initiative took place at the Victor Hugo Hall in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.

The initiative, launched by the Service Nationale de la Jeunesse (National Youth Service - SNJ) is part of Luxembourg’s Ministry of Education, Children and Youth's Screen-Life Balance campaign.

In a press release, the ministry stated that the GoodFoodLoop initiative aims to raise awareness among young people about a healthy and balanced lifestyle, by combining well-being (Good), healthy eating (Food) and physical activity (Loop) in the form of dynamic and interactive workshops.

On Friday 21 March 2025, Luxembourg’s Minister of Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, attended the first edition of GoodFoodLoop as part of the ministry's "Manner Ecran – méi beweegen, entdecken, erliewen" (Less screen – more movement, discovery, experience) initiative. The latter aims to help children and young people find a balance between the digital and real worlds by offering physical, fun and creative spaces, as well as activities that allow them to make new discoveries away from screens. GoodFoodLoop highlights the benefits of a balanced lifestyle in a motivating and interactive way, encouraging young people to adopt healthy habits through enriching and interactive experiences.

"In a world where screens are omnipresent, it is essential to reconnect young people with movement, discovery and social interactions. With GoodFoodLoop, we offer them concrete experiences that encourage them to move, interact and discover new ways to take care of themselves, while having fun,” emphasised Minister Meisch.

The first edition of  GoodFoodLoop saw approximately 90 young people participate daily in five different workshops led by experts:
- Yoga: improving relaxation and concentration;
- Cooking workshop: discovering healthy eating in a fun way;
- Skateboarding: combining sport and fun through a dynamic challenge;
- Functional training: optimal combination of strength and mobility;
- Dance: combining movement and rhythm to promote the enjoyment of sport.

In the coming months, several tours are planned across the country to ensure that as many young people as possible can benefit from GoodFoodLoop, which is aimed at secondary school classes, as well as youth organisations, youth centres, etc.

The next events will take place in:
