For the second consecutive year, the French Lycée Vauban, is organising a comic book and manga fair.
From Monday 14 to Friday 18 November 2022, Lycée Vauban offers students various workshops and meetings with professionals, including scriptwriters, designers, authors and publishers, who will come and present their professions in the classroom.
On Saturday 19 November 2022, a fair open to the public will be held within Vauban's establishment from 10:00 to 17:00, including signing sessions, cosplay contest and a comic conference.
According to Lycée Vauban, the craze for comic books among young readers and manga among teenagers is increasing, creating a meeting point between generations.
In addition, exhibitions will be hosted throughout the week and students will have the chance to attend a comic strip concert on the theme of environmental preservation at the Lycée Amphitheater.
The event is organised in with the support of the Pierre Werner Institute and in partnership with the Tome 5 bookstore and the Meurthe et Moselle departmental media library.
