The National Museum of Natural History Luxembourg and the educational initiative Youth4planet Luxembourg have announced that they are launching a unique collaboration starting 24 April 2025: at the heart of the museum's exhibition “Sous les pavés, la nature” is the CreatiVelo, a solar-powered media bicycle by Youth4planet, serving as a hub for creating interactive visions of the future.

Nature meets city – and dreams become visible

Using photos, short films and AI, visitors can imagine and design green, human- and nature-friendly urban environments. Their “before-and-after” visions can be displayed and discussed on site – creating an evolving public dialogue about liveable cities and the future.

School challenge & LUGA field actions

School classes from Luxembourg and the Greater Region are invited to take part in the “Dream Your City” challenge, where they create and film their urban ideas with CreatiVelo and AI.

A student Climate Action Team will tour the city with a CreatiVelo during LUGA.lu, inviting passers-by to visualise their dreams and record them on the spot.

Monthly screenings and civic dialogue

The films will be screened monthly (dates to be announced) in free public events where ideas are shared and discussed with urban planners and experts.

We want to show how much creativity and future energy lies within our young people and citizens when they are given the right tools,” said Joerg Altekruse, founder of Youth4planet. “With storytelling, images, and AI, ideas emerge that connect and inspire,” added Semion Smolenskiy, CreatiVelo Action Manager.
